Suite ~ $159.00 per night
Hideaway in this luxurious suite decorated in
antique beige floral wallpaper. The original tiled fireplace is visible from
both the elaborately carved antique mahogany queen-sized bed and whirlpool.
Pocket doors separate the bath and bedchambers and lead to the Pearl whirlpool
tub for two and private bath with shower. Matching marble-top dresser and
sitting area complete this romantically grand master suite.
Celia's Room ~ $129.00 per night
Relax in this cozy, secluded room decorated with rich burgundy accents. The fireplace features a carved cherub mantel and is visible from the elegant white iron queen sized bed. The private bath has an oversized single Pearl whirlpool tub and hand-held shower. Pedestal sink in room.
Roses Room ~
$119.00 per night
This “rosily” appointed room features an
antique Eastlake bed, fireplace and sitting area add to the comfort of this
quaint room. Private bath with shower and pedestal sink in room.
Stella's Room ~ $99.00 per night
Guests enjoy the serenity of this room with
its misty green and cabbage rose décor featuring an open top canopy bed. An
antique dresser and sitting area with parlor stove fireplace add to the charm of
this enchanting bedchamber. Private bath with original claw foot soaking tub and
French shower is just down the hall. Fluffy robes provided.
Particulars & Policies
The Barteau House is open year round, except for the
Christmas Holiday. We are not handicapped accessible due to the many
stairs throughout the house. For the convenience of all of our guests, we are a
smoke-free facility.
Check In: 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Late arrivals by prior arrangement.
Check Out: 11:00 am.
Rates: Prices are per night based on two people to a room and include
breakfast. Rates are subject to change without notice. Changes in
rates will be disclosed at the time of reservation. Taxes of 6.5% are not included
in the rate. Single
rate: Deduct $5.00 per night.
Reservations: Your reservation is confirmed by
a deposit of half of the total stay. During a select number of special event weekends, a two night stay is required on Friday and Saturday evenings.
You can check room availability here.
Cancellations: Your deposit is refundable if cancellation is received
two weeks prior to the first night's stay. If cancellation is made less
than two weeks prior to your first night's stay, you will be refunded in the
form of a gift certificate, provided the room can be re-booked.
Children: Over 14 by prior arrangement
Pets: Sorry, no pets.
Breakfast: A full,
candlelight breakfast at 9:00 am in the dining room.
Early Coffee: Coffee is available at 8:00 am in the dining room for you
to enjoy in the common areas, on the porch, or in your room.
Snacks: Cookies, bars, or fruit and soft drinks are available in the
"Treat Cupboard" anytime. Drinks may be taken to the room.
Each room has stemmed-glasses for your use with beverages you bring in.
Common Areas: The front parlor, dining room and library are available
for guests to use, as well as the outside grounds, porch, gazebo and
pergola. Mosquito repellent is available for guests on the front
porch. Feel free to stroll our pathways and grounds or play a game of croquet
on the lawn, as well as enjoy the fountain and fish pond.

From the South: Follow Highway 52 North to Zumbrota, right exit
at County Road 68 (Covered Bridge Restaurant), then .3 miles to the first drive
on the right.
From the North: Follow Highway 52 South to Zumbrota, left
exit on County Road 68 (Covered Bridge Restaurant), then .3 miles to the first
drive on the right.
